The Lockout Has Ended: RME’s Patriots Season Perdiction

By Ryan Whitfield

This year’s schedule certainly will not e a grueling one for the guys. I believe that they will win the AFC East again, and that they will be a better team than last year. the real test will come in the post season, a place they haven’t won a game since 2007. The Pats I think will finish this season 13-3. I think they will only get better from last year and could bring in some nice veteran pieces here this week but we will see. I would like to see a nice blitzing LB, maybe the Spikes Duo. Aside from that I think the Jets are about to really mess up. And I am not saying this because I hate the Jets which I do. They are a front runner in the bidding for Nnamdi Asomugha. True it will be spectacular to watch him and Revis shut down receivers. However if they make that signing they will lose at least one of the two of Braylon Edwards and Santonio Holmes or Both. Either way it will damage Sanchez’s rhythm and the amount of weapons they have. they would be better to sign an average corner and keep their offense in tact. I would worry more about the safety situation as the Pats exposed them with their tight ends there last year. With that being said I think the pats will lose 1 of 2 against the Jets because they will be a ten or eleven game winner. With a still young defensive group the Eagles will be a tough one for the Pats, with Vick running around. Aside from that I see them slipping up on a game here or there, as such is human nature. I truly believe the Pats should represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. Unfortunately though, the Packers are an incredible team. So this Pats fan would just assume not play them if we make it.
