Home Stretch For The Bruins

By Ryan Whitfield

Last nights victory at home against the Devils will hopefully will be the spark to push this team into the post season. The Bruin’s have now taken points in four out of their last five games. Krejci and Lucic were joined on the front line last night by Tyler Seguin, a move some of us have been waiting for for a while now. The result was 4 goals, one from Seguin and the hat trick for Krejci. The win sets the Bruins up again with the chance to win back to back for the first time since January 10th and 12th.

That chance will take place at 1 tomorrow against the lowly Islanders. Following that the B’s travel to NY to try and take their first win against the Rangers this year. If the Bruins can win both games they will be on a 3 game win streak, have taken points in 6 out of 7 games. This momentum, with Peverly’s return on the horizon could be what the boys need to make another deep playoff run. Horton is still a question mark, so I have not put any faith in that. With the recent additions a winning streak will go along way. This is a huge weekend for the Bruins, check back here for full coverage.
